The Medical College Admission Test (MCAT) is a computer-based standardized test for prospective medical students in the United States and Canada. It is designed to assess problem solving, critical thinking, written analysis, and writing skills in addition to knowledge of scientific concepts and principles.
The MCAT is perhaps the most daunting step in the Pre-Medicine journey. The subject of innumerable horror stories and countless nightmares, the MCAT is a challenge that does not have to be undertaken alone! There are an enormous amount of resources available to you as members of the Pre-Medical Society at Texas Tech. We invite you to attend meetings where you can hear representatives from the top MCAT prep courses (Kaplan, Princeton Review, etc.), speak to fellow members who have experienced the infamous MCAT, and possibly win a free MCAT prep course from one of our presenters!
Below you will find a link to the top MCAT prep course websites.
